Calm week, sleeping much?

I've been sleeping soundly, thank you, but for a shorter amount of time than usual.

Sleeping sadly for at least an hour a night.

Greetings. How are you? All right, probably sleeping slightly less than Patrick McGuire. Less than an hour of night. Yeah. I mean, I'm a men or pals of women, so I don't sleep that much at night anyway. But it has been a very torrid week. Well, you both look very well in it.

Patrick, this time last week, PMQ's, the Prime Minister confirmed he had appointed Lord Mandelson to the Royal of US Ambassador, despite knowing about his friendship with a convicted sex offender Geoffrey Epstein. He said also then he had full confidence in Morgan McSweeney. To paraphrase Ferris Bueller, life moves pretty fast.

Yeah, indeed. We weren't necessarily expecting PMQs last week to unfold in the way that it did

all the past seven days to unfold in the way that they have. But Kirstarmer is still somehow, Prime Minister. And today I think he's likely to face questions about what he knew and when about making another appointment of a man who campaigned for someone who'd been charged with child sex offences to be elected as a counsellor and why he then put that person in the House of Lords. So, you know, same week, different week, same sort of territory somehow. Yeah. Aisha, before we kick off into PMQs, I want to ask you a bit about everything that's going on with Matthew Doyle. So Matthew Doyle, Lord Doyle, he's been suspended from the Labour Party. He was Kirsteim as Director of Communications, previously worked for Tony Blair, sort of Labor staffer of longstanding. He had an association, which he's apologised for, with Sean Morton, who was a former Labour councillor who admitted indecent child image offences in 2017. Gabriel Programme on the Sunday Times reported that Doyle campaigned for Morton,

who was running as independent, after he'd been suspended from the Labour Party.

Even at that stage, he'd been charged with the crime.

He hadn't yet been convicted, but he had been charged.

Aisha, there's huge upset in the Labour Party about this.

Explain a bit about how people are feeling

and why this has become such a big deal.

I mean, obviously it should be a story,

but why such a big one?
