I have to say that I'm feeling very refreshed after a much needed break.

The podcast is now eight months old and every week, sometimes twice a week,

I've been putting out an episode and while I do absolutely love it, I have to admit it's an enormous amount of work. I don't ever have a problem finding

guests. I actually have a huge list of artists and other people that I am really, really looking forward to talking to.

But coordinating schedules, doing the research, the interviews themselves, which are my favorite part, editing the audio, writing the show notes, publishing

the podcast, doing all the social media stuff,

and letting people know that it's there.

All of that takes a huge chunk of time, and it's not free.

So I decided I needed a little help with that so I have two people now who

are helping me and I'm excited about that. It takes a load off of my back and gives me

more time in the studio.

So I'm learning to streamline all the pieces of the puzzle that go into making this

podcast and I care so deeply about the quality of the podcast that some things just can't be sped up and I'm not going

to delegate them.

But I'm grateful for the notes of support and I definitely, definitely needed a little bit of

a breather and some extra time in the studio to re-enter myself.
