Before we get into today's episode, I just want to do, I'm not even going to say shameless

because the idea of shame doesn't even enter into it.

So I couldn't have less shame because I'm so pumped for my new book, All Things Aside.

You know, I wrote Girl Logic a couple years ago and it's great that people keep reading

it, but it's like, why did it take you so long to find it?

So now you have no excuse.

It's my second book, All Things Aside, Out With Abrams, The Art of Books.

And this is a collection of personal essays ranging from topics like nostalgia, the bullshit

idea of having it all, everything's a scam.

I ask where have all the hot boys gone, girls that are single, you're wondering where

are all the dudes.

I'm telling you where they are and where they aren't.

I talk about my miscarriage and why normalizing these conversations is important for the

health of our society.

I talk about not so much having a baby, but how annoying people are about you having a

baby, acting like a person, kind of a referendum on people acting like nightmares in society.

I ask questions about why women are high maintenance and what is required of us.

I have a chapter on a annoying court.

Sometimes I'm just annoying and I wonder if I'm too annoying.

I question tradition.

I talk about the art of unplugging, even though I'm not good at it.
