If you put your effort and concentration and to play into your potential to be the best that you can be, I don't care what the scoreboard says at the end of the game. In my book, we're going to be winners.

The talent for so many players today, the talent and the spotlight, it's taking them to heights that their character's not strong enough to support.

I'm one of those set goals of cheapness.

I talked about faith, passion,

obviously the drive with the guys that I've been around and the guys that surround me every single day.

If I want to be one of the best, I've got to play with and against the best.

So that which gets praised gets with beautiful.

Now, for those that have listened for a while, you know I run an organization called Lead them Up.

And here in the Baltimore, Washington Market, I get an opportunity to work with a handful of teams

every season, typically two to three.

And my work with them consists usually of every week,

getting about an hour with the players where I take them through various leadership

exercises and sessions and work with them from a leadership component as it relates to their game.

Now, recently, with one of my teams, I was doing a session, and we had to reschedule it

from early in the week to later in the week.

And one player who is a highly recruited, highly touted player, hasn't made a commitment

to where he's going to play at the next level, but he will be playing D1 very soon and is an incredible

kid, incredible talent, tremendous potential. And I was a little disappointed to hear on this

particular day that he wasn't going to be able to make the session. He had a workout that he had
