Hey, Tiger fans, welcome back. We are glad to be back here on play-by-play, presented by our friends at the Advocate after a week off. I mean, you know, I mean, it was a holiday week. It was Thanksgiving.

And, well, we happen to be in the Cayman Islands and not to brag or not to throw that in anybody's face.

But we were busy.

But we are back and happy to be back here in Baton Rouge and happy to be talking about LSU Tiger Athletics.

it was a pretty good weekend for a couple of Tiger teams, tough weekend for others, but we've got

a lot to cover today, and I guess we'll start. Congratulations to Tanya Johnson, LSU volleyball.

First season, she gets the Tigers into the NCAA tournament.

First time since 2017, I believe it is, that they are going to the NCAA championships again.

Tough draw.

They go to Stanford to play Hawaii and then would play the winner of Stanford's match on the next night.

But a tremendous accomplishment.

I think this team has improved tremendously this season.

Tough weekend with Georgia, but Georgia's pretty good.

They're going to finish, they finish third in the conference, but had some chances on Friday to possibly extend that match a little bit. But if we can see the LSU team, we saw most of the season that took teams to five games and just outlasted teams, I think this team

has a chance to advance out of this first round match in the NCAA tournament.

But to get there, I think it's wonderful.

And Chris, I don't know if you saw on Facebook or on our website, the pictures of the girls when it was announced.

But just the pure joy was just so wonderful to see.

You know, sometimes it's just like, okay, we're in again.
