Hello and welcome to Best Laid Plans.

0:11.2

This is your host, Sarah Hart Unger, and this is a podcast where we talk all things planning

0:15.2

and planning adjacent.

0:17.0

If I sound a little bit different, or if you are watching this on video, well, there you go.

0:21.7

That is what makes this episode a little bit different from my typical episodes.

0:25.9

I have done a couple of YouTube videos in the past where I've shown my planner stack,

0:30.7

but I have always done those separate from my recording of my episodes.

0:34.0

The reason for that is that I think the sound quality in my, the main part of my

0:38.0

house isn't quite as good as the sound quality in my closet. But my closet really does not make

0:43.1

for a very nice backdrop and it has terrible lighting. So I decided for today, we're going to maybe

0:48.3

let the sound quality be a little bit less than optimum, but hopefully still pretty good.

0:52.6

And I'm going to do a video version of

0:55.4

this episode by trying out one of the apps that allows you to record both. So here we go. I'm going

1:03.0

to be sharing my planner stack from last year, or really from this year, I'm recording this,

1:07.0

and it's going to air in early December. and I have my planner stack that I've been using

1:11.0

for the back half of 2025. And then I also have the tools and the physical tools specifically

1:16.9

that I plan on using in 2026. So you can compare what I ended up with for 2025 to the stack that

1:25.0

I showed in my YouTube video for last year, if you'd like, definitely some

1:28.7

changes. I went through a pretty tumultuous period in the spring. You guys have heard about

1:33.1

kind of the health stuff I went through at that time. And honestly, I needed a fresh start,

1:37.5

which does sometimes happen. And so I ended up shifting my tools a little bit. But I think

1:42.2

what I ended up with really worked quite well for me.
