Welcome to another fine edition of Plank of the Week. We are already now in the month of July.

We've got some great news coming from Boris Johnson. We've got unlocking stuff all over the place.

And I'm delighted to tell you, you will be very pleased to know that we've got the old firm back in town. It's Kevin O'Sullivan and of course Dawn Niesham, the pair that kept us going for so many months through the pandemic and through the lockdowns of the early part of this year. I had to separate them briefly for a while obviously because of, you know, what can I even be described as health and safety reasons. I thought they might start pudging each other. It's actually unrequited passion.

0:40.2

It is unrequited passion. To be honest with you, Kevin. Imagine my delight to have you back.

0:43.9

We kept the show going to the extent that we couldn't stand. It's just sat with each other.

0:48.9

Despite that, they're back together, possibly for the final time.

0:54.1

Hopefully, fingers crossed.

0:55.0

We shall see.

But Dawn, I feel as though I should offer you the first opportunity to give us the first.

1:00.0

I'm going to nominate Kevin and Salomon.

1:02.0

Yay!

1:03.0

I win.

1:04.0

Every week.

1:05.0

There you go.

1:06.0

There you go.

1:07.0

Give him the plank.

1:08.0

That's it.

1:09.0

Absolutely right.

I'm going to start with the biggie of the week, Sage and the Brothers Grimm. I'm throwing them all in together on this one. They're all in it together. They have an opportunity to give us the best news they've ever given us during this entire pandemic in a press conference. And what do they do? Ruin it. They ruin it. But they make it more miserable than going to someone's funeral, which obviously we might even be allowed to do now. Right. It's like rather than, you know, give us a good news. 19th of July, Freedom Day, get out there, hug people. Yeah. You know, don't wear them off. Take your mask off. Yeah. Well, I think that was great, though, wasn't it? But then, yeah, it was great, Mike. But then they make it so damn, downbeat. But you know what the problem is as well? Because they stage all the questions. You know, whether they're from members of the press or members of the public, you know, witty starts banging on about how and under what circumstances he would wear a mask. Yeah, absolutely. Why? The worst, the worst bit.

2:01.5

When he's in the parks, so people don't beat him up. Oh, well, this is why I felt being a girl. They are good for your safety, Chris. This is why I thought that I would not nominate him personally on the grounds that people have a go at him. However, what really annoyed me so much so that I wanted to punch the TV, not the man, was the fact that he said, well, yeah, I'm going to wear a mask if people around me feel uncomfortable if I'm not wearing one. Oh, man up. That is ridiculous. Because I said earlier on today, what if I feel uncomfortable about you being in charge of our public health?

2:36.1

I feel uncomfortable with that.

2:37.7

Would you resign, please?
