It just doesn't seem like to me people are as aware of the realities that we will be living in,

dependent on the election this fall.

And that's scary and frustrating, and I plan to be pretty loud about it.

And registering more voters along the way.

the suburban women problem. Jasmine is not with us right now because she is literally on the floor

of the Georgia House of Representatives defending Fannie Willis, who unsurprisingly, they are trying to fire.

So she is doing important work.

Amanda and I are going to hold down the fort.

We are only a month into 2024, but we already know that this November, our democracy

depends on everyone coming together, all ages, all races, all genders.

And just like other recent elections we know

we especially need young people to join the fight so this week i'm very excited we're talking to

a young woman who uprooted her life in 2022 and started traveling around texas and a van

registering voters taylor coleman has been featured on MSNBC and in the Houston Chronicle,

and I can't wait to talk to her. But before that, we need to catch up on the news. Amanda,

you missed this last week. How are you? Good. I've been bopping around. I got to go to Madison,

Wisconsin, and then Columbus. I've been to a lot of Midwestern capitals lately, but it's a lot of fun.

It's a lovely time of year to go to Wisconsin. I will say it was super fun when I was driving in

my hotel and you just like drive by the road and people are playing hockey and ice skating on the

side of the road. And you're like, oh, that's so cool. Yeah, you don't get that in Florida as much. We do not get that.
