I just heard the first holiday song on the radio.

So, it's official. Trees up, lights on, candles lit.

I believe everyone was ready to decorate for anything starting in August.

The hint of even the smallest excuse to celebrate something has been the hope of many of us,

at least over here.

I would be lying if I said I had not been looking for fake snow machines on Amazon.

Don't bother.

They don't have them.

At least I haven't found them yet.

But this week, here in the States at least, it's Thanksgiving, a time traditionally meant

to be with family and to celebrate being together.

I read the most amazing quote just before I started recording this episode, literally minutes ago.

It said, this is not the year to get everything you want.

This is the year to get everything you want. This is the year to appreciate everything you have. Ah, so on point.

I want to say that one more time.

This is not the year to get everything you want.

This is the year you appreciate everything you have.

2020 has given us a much-needed time to reflect.

Though, as with everything this year, it will look different than it has in years past.

Smaller, quieter.

Any and every glimmer of hope is a welcomed remedy, along with a much-needed trip to fan nap. But one thing

you can bat the turkey wishbone on is the tradition of watching planes, trains, and automobiles.
