What is up? I'm Grace Beverly and welcome back to Working Hard, the podcast shared guide book on how to improve your own life and achieve what you actually dreamed of doing, because life's too short for boring podcasts and bad advice.

What is up and welcome back to Working Hard. Today's episode is something that has very much

0:28.6

become tradition for us. We are going to be planning for 2026. As we near the end of the year,

0:33.4

my planning brain kind of goes into overdrive. The closer we get to January, the more I start

0:38.0

craving structure lists a clear planner page. And I've always said that I don't truly believe in

0:43.5

New Year, New Me, because facing 365 days at once is very overwhelming and doesn't necessarily

0:48.9

set you up for success. But breaking it down makes it not only manageable, but also genuinely

0:53.4

exciting. It is exciting to have the sense of a reset, a chance to realign, reflect, set goals that actually feel right for where you're at the moment because a lot changes in a year. And we've done these plan with me episodes for the last two years now and they are always one of your favourites. So I wanted to bring it back with everything that I've learned since the end of last year. Also with new tools, better systems and a more realistic way to approach planning for the year ahead. The whole reason for effectively planning for your year ahead is that you can really touch base with yourself and understand what do I want by the time I get to 2027? Like what do I want to look back on and think, yeah, I did that and I'm so glad I went through X, Y, Z this year to be able to put me in the position that I want to be in going into 2027. And I know that feels crazy looking at it now because you're like 2027. Even I just had to ask the team where the 2026 was actually next year. That's how far out I am. But I feel like planning is what makes that possible. And you don't need to be achieving all these massive things at once, but you do need to know what you want to achieve. There is no way you are going to be able to get to where you want to get to if you don't even know the destination. If you're not paying attention to the journey, you are probably going to miss the destination and you're probably not going to have planned effectively for what you actually want when you think about where your life is now, where you want your life to be in a year. And so for this session, I wanted to really think about the past two years, think about what we've learned, where I've missed my goals, where that was the right thing to do, like where I recalibrated halfway through the year and thought, no, do you know what, this no longer serves me? And where certain things fell off because I just wasn't effective enough about my planning. And part of that is using new tools. And when I say new tools, I mean new tools. The last two years that I have done this, I've done this exercise on our digital planner. And about a month ago,

2:34.4

we released a totally new updated version, which I've been using as my personal homepage for months now,

2:39.1

and I honestly couldn't live without. And this as a product is something that took a year to build

2:43.5

based on these plan with me sessions. Like the whole idea of this digital planner is that you have

2:48.0

a personal homepage that has all of your goals, your vision boards, your lists, all of these different things in one place so that you can effectively go throughout the year, actually reach your goals, then go to the next year and feel like you're not just starting from square one. Now I want to say that obviously you do not need it to plan your year. All you need is a notepad or your notes app. But if you are someone who loves a planning system like me, or you know

3:08.5

that you don't have effective planning systems of your own, I highly recommend getting something like

3:13.2

this so that it takes a lot of the guesswork out for you so that you don't need to go into the

3:17.4

year, kind of manually trying to put everything into your diary and trying to check in on yourself

3:21.6

a few months later when everything is all over the place. If you know you are not an organised person and you would like to be an organised person, using something like this, I don't care if it's mine, I don't care if it's someone else's, using something like this is going to make a lot of the difference because you are just taking that guesswork out and I do think that is very important. If every year you get to the end of the year and you think, oh, I haven't achieved a lot of the things I want to achieve, change doesn't happen unless change happens.

3:44.5

So maybe think about the system you're using as well. And at the end of this episode, I have put in a specific offer for the first 1,000 people who use the code. So if you're in the market for a personal home page, a digital planner. Now is your time to get it. It is a very good offer. So it is time

3:57.6

to grab your

3:58.4

coffee, grab your tea, grab some water or a matcher, maybe something stronger, a little glass of

4:02.8

wine if 2026 is looking a little scary right now. And let is get into it. This is how to make

4:08.4

2026 your most intentional year yet. Now, I would never usually say this, but this is one of those

4:13.7

episodes that is made for watching. We have spent a huge amount of time making sure it is as visually interactive and engaging as possible with things like having my planner on screen talking through what I'm doing at any one time so that we can do it together. So if you are listening to this just a reminder that we are on YouTube. If you just search Working Hard Pod plan with me, you will be able to
