Welcome to Grow Cook Eat Arrange with me, Sarah Raven and our Purchill head gardener, Josie Lewis, who many of you will have heard and know.

And we thought today, as we're sort of in the middle of summer, and it's a time when the roses

have gone over, you know, even things like sweet peas are getting tired, a lot of people

come to the garden and they say, how do you manage colour succession and flower succession?

And that your borders carry on looking really good

right the way through the year so that it isn't just a massive high point at let's say

June or with us with Dalyas in September. How do you manage the whole idea that you want

something looking fabulous really for the whole growing season.

So Josie and I thought that we would try and attempt to put together a sort of program

of how we do it here. So that's the plan, isn't it, Josie? Yes. Yeah, I've had a quick

whist through my Instagram because I take pictures of what's looking good this month.

So slightly cheating, but not really.
