He's a PK, aka a pastor's kid.

As an adult, he decided to follow in his father's steps and start a ministry of his own.

But once he was finally leading a congregation, his thinking around what it means to start a church began to

unravel. Here's what happened. So I guess you know like real magic and all that good shit I am definitely a

motherfucking mermaid I took my shirt off I was like oh yeah this cool but they

start taking everything off I was like

So growing up in the Black Church, it always felt like home.

You were always greeted with a smile with with a hug with a kiss with love

Everyone knew you we spent all day in service. I mean literally we were the we were the churches that would go and start at like 11 and then end at 3 and then have a break and go to church a chicken and then come back at 5 or 6 and stay all night until it was like, okay, we have to go to school tomorrow, can we please go home?

My dad, being a pastor and my mom being really involved in the ministry, it was family.

It wasn't perfect, you know, it was messy at times. It was, you know, drama. It was, you

didn't really have to stand up and tell all your daughter business why you stand up in

testimony time, right? But it did feel like home.

I would always tell people, you know,

when they asked when I was really young,

what did you want to be and I would always

tell them I want to be a pastor I want to be a preacher you know like my father
