This part, we dig into the ways that travel and living abroad has really expanded Candace's horizons.

Again, I am biased. I do think travel, if possible, is a great way to make your world bigger, to expand your worldview.

And we talk a little bit about that in today's conversation.

Let's dive right back into chatting with Candace about the way she's grown, the lesson she's

learned, the joy she's had from living abroad. Okay, we are back with Candace. This conversation is so fun.

I love talking about living abroad.

And so I'm glad you're my guest to do it with.

And to that point, how have you grown?

Let's just dive right in.

How have you grown from living abroad?

Like what good things has it brought into your life?

Ooh, I think more than anything. And I know

solo travel can do this too in a lot of ways, but I think just full belief and trust myself.

Like, because I moved here with no one. I figured out everything on my own. Like, I didn't come from a family that's like, oh, yeah, I've, oh, I've traveled here. I've been here. You do this, this, this, this. Like all the research, even when it came to time to go to college, my guidance counselor just because he didn't know anything about students studying abroad. It was like, oh, you should go to Pennsylvania for college. Oh,

you want to go abroad. I don't know how to do that. So I had to figure out everything. And so I think I

just have this really, really good relationship with my intuition, but also my responsibility of knowing,

like, okay, whatever we need to get through, like, we can do it. Even if it's hard, like, it's going to happen.

I think that's the biggest.

I think it's made me confident in a way that I don't fully know if I would have realized

in myself, if I was still in the U.S.
