Fridays I like to keep things short and sweet.

But have you ever made a decision, one that you thought would lead you in the right direction?

And I mean it seems like we made this decision out of our best intentions.

And to say we were open, we were willing, you know, this could be a commitment to a project, an idea, a relationship, a path, whatever it may be.

And after making this decision and giving it a little bit of time, because everything needs time and space to flourish, right?

But after making this decision and giving it its time, we found that isn't quite what we thought it would be.

Now what kind of person are you?

Are you the person that is able to speak up for themselves and make decisions with certainty?

Or are you the type of person that allows things to continue until they drive itself into their own disaster?

You know, often in life, I think we need to be able to pivot, right?

What does pivot mean?

Pivot is to make a turn to rotate.

Our ability to pivot in life is key. It's crucial.

It's in our pivot that we become flexible in our decisions. It's in our pivot where no decision truly goes wrong because simply we know how to pivot.

But when we don't have the ability to pivot, to make a turn, to turn around, and we allow things to constantly fall, we find ourselves swimming in the wrong direction, floating in our wrong decisions.

You know, to pivot takes confidence. It takes having the ability to listen to our true voice and not the other voice because that other voice is loud, telling us what if we regret, what if we make the wrong decision.

But a lot of us need to pivot right now in our life. A lot of us need to pivot and apply our energy in another direction.

Because where our energy is going right now is simply not sustainable.

Things take time. But how long are you going to pour your energy into something or someone when you know truly it ain't the thing for you?

Listen to that true voice within yourself. Not that other voice that won't allow you to pivot.

Because that other voice allows you to believe that if you pivot, you will miss out. You will regret.

But our ability to pivot is key.
