And what he's doing after his exit of a telecom company is really, really innovative and cool. And I save it for later in the episode where we talk about how all of these different diagnosis processes that exist nowadays are just fragmented and not easy to use.

There's great examples of, you know, during COVID, we had to pay $300 at the Houston airport to take a COVID test that took three hours to process and just the technology that he's building is really fun and interesting and cool.

So we talked about that later on the interview. So definitely stick around for that. And his telecom company exit is really cool.

And just the idea that he was in right before the disruption of Skype and some of these big internet voice over IP companies was really fun to talk through, especially like with WhatsApp.

And the disruption that happened after his company accident is quite substantial and he says he was ready. He had a team of 20. He was ready for the disruption, but going the exit route was the right path.

We talked about some of the things that happened after the acquisition that were quite interesting around the team sticking around for a little while, the acquire closing a huge deal with a news network.

And there's just a lot of great intel here for people that are starting companies and want to understand what it means and the importance around being prepared from the start.

And he didn't have an exit in mind when they had started their telecom company and he really just talks about how he wanted that for the future.

He wanted to think through an exit from the beginning and being prepared initially was the most powerful path for him. So without further ado, let's sit down here on the exit and talk with Sergio Rivera.

All right, I'm here with Sergio Rivera and he is currently the founder and CEO of Radio Life. How's it going Sergio?

Being great Steve is I'm happy to be here. Thank you for inviting me.

Yeah, we were just chatting a little bit about Northern California before we started recording a very special place.

And I'd love to kind of kick it off with your background. What got you into business and entrepreneurship?

Well, I always loved challenges since I was a kid. My background is in computer science. I graduated in Brazil in 2004.

And since then I decided to, you know, build my own businesses. I started with a telecom company.

And that's the one that I accident that we're going to talk a little bit about.
