Summary
Have you ever watched a video of a doctor pop a pimple/cyst? These videos are some of the most popular videos that people watch. However, there are some that should never be popped such as the pilonidal cyst/disease.
The pilonidal disease is most commonly found above the buttocks. It is more common in males than females. In this episode, we will discuss how the cyst begins to form and what you will look for when examining your patient. Then, we will go over if your patient will need antibiotics or surgical intervention.
Join Dr. Niket Sonpal to go over that cyst that you might be sitting on.
