Now I hope you all got what you wanted for Christmas, but if you didn't, this episode really is a treat.

Today we have Pierre Bouvier of the band Simple Plan on the show,

and I'd say he's the first true real rock star we've had on the show. I mean

Simple Plan has sold 10 million records worldwide. They've headlined arenas,

stadiums, festivals, they've had their songs on movie soundtracks.

They've done crazy crazy stuff and I actually met Pierre quite a long time ago in

2006 simple Pierre, quite a long time ago in 2006,

Simple Plan took us on kind of our first real European tour.

So it was just the two of our bands and we spent a lot of time together and the guys

and simple planter some of my favorite people and some of the best guys you'll ever

meet and this summer on the warp tour we were on warp tour together and I ran into Pierre and said

hey would you would you want to be on my podcast and he was totally totally down.

Now a lot of people won't know this even big simple plan fans back in high school Pierre and Chuck who's the drummer for

simple plan they played in a punk rock band called Reset and they were one of

my favorite bands of all time

and when you think of simple plan you definitely don't think fast

aggressive

heavy and certainly not political

but reset was all of those things.
