Today's tip is to pick some low-hanging fruit in your life.

Treat yourself to one easy win, and you will feel like you can tackle anything.

In an earlier episode this week, I talked about the decluttering wisdom of tackling one spot. Getting rid of all the junk is impossible,

but you can probably clean out one drawer. When we do this, we feel excited rather than defeated.

Seeking out an easy win works on the same principle.

Making progress on big goals can be hard, but not all the steps are equally hard. There's no reason not to pick the

I was thinking of this recently

when my laptop informed me that I would need to free up some storage space.

Now this seemed like it would be a big task which would involve going through old files and photos

and making hard choices about what to keep.

Then I looked and realized that a single hour-long video file that I didn't need was consuming

more space than pretty much all of my documents combined.

The video file was gone in a second.

Now, I am not saying that I don't need to do some file purging.

I probably do. But picking that low-hanging fruit, bought me time.

You can probably think of all sorts of situations where you can pick some low hanging fruit.

Getting out of debt can be a long and difficult process for sure.
