I back to work here discussing the vanquished in the second round and let's begin with the

Phoenix Sun. This has been a topic of conversation to some degree already, but let's really get

into the nitty gritty of this Sun's off season after that 30 point loss. I talked about this

a little bit with Hollinger of just what the overall reaction to that should be because

up until Sunday night, they were the favorites for the NBA championship this year. They won 64

games. They had home court in a game seven and had been totally fine in the home games in that series.

So before we get into the under eight in situation, all that, just how are you feeling about the

team now? If you're a James show, you feeling major surgery is required or is it let's just tweak

around the margins here and where we got a really good team and we'll just be right in the mix

next year as well. Beyond the 64 wins, the Sun's were a fantastic clutch team and that of course

affects a lot of different elements of this, but they also had the league's best point differential.

So this was not a circumstance where a team was totally ridiculous and it was they did they

had this they outperform their point differential by the sixth highest margin in the league and that's

partially due to their clutch success. A lot of it is due that, but they were still you know plus

a point five cleaning the glass net rating this season. Next closest was plus seven point four and plus

seven for Boston and the jazz or set to play in Phoenix did not have perfect health this year.

A lot of their key players miss some time. I think that a related question for James Jones and

we get into this more often in the context of what does a tear down look like is what would major

surgery look like? I do not think that the Sun's already perfect team. But I do like their foundation

booker has continued to ascend and you had him as the number one shooting guard. I had him at number

two and he might be number one real soon on mine just based on how everything's gone. We'll see
