October 1. So in a lot of parts of the country, hunting seasons are opening up like crazy everywhere.

So do you have a favorite hunting gun? Chuck Gunner rifle, it doesn't matter. And a lot of people are

really into handgun hunting. If you haven't tried that, I mean, if you're a handgun shooter and

you really like it, you might try it if you've an experienced hunter. And sometimes honestly,

you're going, yeah, okay, it's it's fun, but the sightment's not there like it used to be

trying something new and different. Maybe more challenging. Some people go to bow hunting, but

handgun hunting. Fun. You're putting a restriction on you in terms of caliber, range. Now obviously,

if you're shooting a six-inch barrel revolver with iron sights, that's one thing. If you're shooting

a bolt-axe and handgun with a scope on it, and that may be a 300-yard plus handgun, that's a

whole different thing. But you know what's great about it? You get to decide. You get to determine

the thing, the challenge that you want. In my case, I have a, well, as I was going to say new,

new to me rifle. I'm going to be taking out this year. It's one of the ultra-light arms rifles.

We don't know. It's probably at least 20 years old, more than that probably. It's chambered for

the seven MMO-8 cartridge. I think I'm still going to be getting one in 284, which makes no sense at

all, since they're very similar. But that's just how I roll. I mean, I have 24, 7mm, 08, and 7mm, 57mm.

They all basically shoot the same bullet, go in the same speed, don't ask me why. It makes no sense
