You know, All right. Welcome everybody. Back to the PHI Sixers podcast.

Derek Bonner joined once again by Kyle Newpick, this time remotely. I will say this has a little bit of old school Sixers Beat vibes to it,

both because Devon is still on his vacation.

It does not work in September.

And also because we are remotely, it feels like we are right back into 2018.

So it is good.

But nobody had to look at us back then.

So, you know, if it's my mother, she's probably thrilled to see my face. Everybody else, I can't speak to that. But good to see. I'm right there with you. My grandmother was very excited that we had a YouTube video show. And I think she was the only person who is excited to see my face five days a week, but we are here to talk about basketball. You know, one of the things we brought up in yesterday's show, you know, was one of the questions, which was a long mailbag show, was, you know, if there was someone who was going to be upgraded, who could that be? Who could you see starting later on down the season? And that was more of

an internal discussion. One of the people we brought up Gershawne Yabu Sali, this today's show a little

more externally focused. So a lot of people were, well, they need more depth at forwards. They

need more power forward, specifically more rebounding help.

I think locally some of that concern has been abated a little bit by Gershon, Yabouseli.

That is putting an awful lot of a burden on a player who has never, or hasn't played

in the NBA in quite a few years now and has never been a viable NBA rotation player.

We all think

he's better equipped now than he was with Boston during his first two years in a league,

but it's still some uncertainty. So today we'll take a step back, you know, look at maybe some

potential targets they could acquire in a trade. I think a lot of them will be focused on players

who are probably on the last year of their deal because

they are more likely to be moved, but that's not necessarily a requirement. So I guess we'll
