Hi there, this is Mary DeMuth and this is Pray Every Day where I have the joy and the privilege of praying you through the Bible verse by verse.

It's really fun to be back in the New Testament, especially in one of Paul's letters.

But before I jump into the latter half of Philippians chapter one, I want to pray for someone whose leg has some problems.

So Lord Jesus, I lift up my friend who is hurting. Maybe there's circulation issues.

Maybe there's other things, neuropathy. I don't know, Lord. Maybe a broken bone dislocation.

I don't know, Lord. But you do. You know everybody who has leg injuries out there in the world within the hearing of my voice.

And I pray for patients. I pray for pain pray for patients I pray for pain mediation I pray for great medicine I pray for great

doctors but I also of course pray that you would bring healing to that limb

because boy Lord we do need our legs to walk places so please heal my friend and if

you choose not to heal them I pray that you give them supernatural joy and endurance to endure that trial.

Some indeed preach Christ even out of envy and strife, and some also out of goodwill.

The former insincerely preach Christ from selfish ambition, thinking that they add affliction to my chains,

but the latter out of love knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the good news.
