Welcome to our Tuesday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth. Today I'm continuing a series I just

started this yesterday. It's the first time I've ever done this on television

teaching verse by verse through the Book of Philippians. This is a letter that Paul wrote from

prison to his partners and this is what I started emphasizing yesterday. Let me

real quickly just say that I'm using my computer because I have

written a living commentary, so we call it, it's a digital commentary on 27,000

verses out of the 31,000 verses in the Bible.

I've been doing this for nearly 50 years.

Of course, I've been studying the word for nearly 60 years. We do have this living commentary available if any of you'd like to get it.

In my estimation, I think this is the number one contribution I could make to the body of Christ is about 50 years worth of just

studying the word and writing down everything that the Lord has ever spoken to me

through these scriptures. So yesterday we started in Philippians chapter one and in the first five

verses I established that Paul was writing to his partners

Philippians 415 says these Philippians were the only people that ever supported him

after he left the local area.

You know, I think that's sad that a man gave so much and received so little in return for the people that he ministered to.

But nonetheless, this is why he felt so special about them.
