Welcome to our Monday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm going to begin a brand new series something I've never

taught on television before and I'm going to be teaching verse by verse through the

Book of Philippians. This is a letter that Paul wrote to his partners and he was in

prison. This is towards the end of his life and ministry and he reveals some

things about himself that just kind of give you an insight into the man who

wrote half of the books of the New Testament and just such a powerful man of God and

it is really really good. I believe that this is going to bless you. I am going to be using my computer and I'm just saying this by way of explanation, but I have a living commentary where over the Christmas holidays I finished up writing

over footnotes on 27,000 verses in the Bible out of the 31,000 verses that are there.

We call it a living commentary because it's ongoing and I'm still writing it.

But this letter by Paul, by Paul, to his partners is just powerful, powerful passage of

scripture and there's so many things that I've gotten out of this and I believe that this

will really, really help you. You know what a

honor what a blessing it is to have writings from people 2,000 years ago who gave

their life to propagate the gospel, who influenced the world.

Here we are 2,000 years later, still influenced by the things that Paul and the early disciples did,

and have Paul's writings where he's revealing himself.
