And this week I am dedicating the lesson to all of you COVID return missionaries out there.

I'm meeting more and more of you in my classes at BYU and I'm amazed hearing your stories.

Then you get called in one to one place and you go out and start serving.

And then all of a sudden COVID comes and cuts everything short.

And there are continental quarantines in some parts of the world.

And you are brought back home, sometimes miracles even to be able to get back.

And then readjusting to home life and then readjusting a second time to some new mission field

when you got called and when your assignment was changed.

Then to readjust a third time when you're head back out to the mission field

what you originally called it to or maybe not.

You're still in the place that you got called the second time.

I mean, so many things were up in the air during those years.

There are some professions where you get hazard pay.

The work is so dangerous that they it's a bonus just for coming shown up to work at all.

Well, if that's true of certain professions, I think it's true of certain callings too.
