We're going to talk about progressive prosecutors,

his work in Philadelphia,

and his take on what's happening around the country

with police violence.

But before I get to Larry,

I have to talk about the latest police shooting in Chicago with the killing of unarmed at the time he was shot 13 year old Adam Toledo.

In case you missed it last week the city of Chicago released

footage of a shooting that occurred back on March 29th. Based on what we

know from the footage that was just released this past week it appears that

after a foot chase between Chicago police officer Eric Stillman and Adam Toledo

and Ruben. Toledo was told to drop his gun. He did and when he turned around the officer shot him.

Now this is obviously tragic. What's more tragic is that James Murphy, the prosecutor assigned to this case,

told a judge that Adam Toledo had a gun in his hand when he was shot by Officer Steelman.

That was obviously not true based on the body cam footage, which this prosecutor had to have seen and it took five days

for Cook County State Attorney Kim Fox to have an explanation for why her prosecutor's

description of the event didn't match the footage.
