Coming up on 205, 80 degrees and bright sunshine, which makes it so hard to talk about what we would have to consider, you know, deadly news, both New Orleans and Vegas, two iconic tourist destinations.

And of course, we live in one of them here in Southern California.

And we're spending a lot of time talking this afternoon about how to make sure that we are safe, how do we guard against future attacks, and what, if anything,

we can do to prevent them? You heard us talking about see something, say something, which is much

more than a cliche. It's very real. So if you listen to law enforcement, if you read about crime, if you even read like crime

novels and spy books like I love to do, you know that law enforcement doesn't really believe

in coincidences, right?

There's no such thing as a coincidence. But what they're saying is that New

Orleans and Vegas were completely unrelated. Okay, that makes sense. That could change or not change.

But what is also sort of a bizarre coincidence is that both of the vehicles, the one used in the

ramming in New Orleans and the one that blew up in the Cesslet truck that blew up in Vegas, were rented.

And even more, they were rented by a peer-to-peer car sharing service.

That's an app called Turo, T-U-R-O.

And is there any significance to that, which is one of so many questions being answered.
