More than 4 million doses of the coronavirus vaccines have been administered so far in the United States,

according to the CDC. There are concerns though that more vulnerable communities,

those often hit hardest by this virus, may not have equal access to the potentially life-saving vaccines.

Now sadly, this isn't a new problem.

Disparities in healthcare access have been around since long before this pandemic,

but now they've become impossible to ignore.

So for today's episode, I'm going to hand things over to CNN's Omar Jimenez.

He's been reporting on pharmacy deserts and other challenges to vaccine distribution

in the most vulnerable communities of Chicago.

Um, on my life, 55 years.

Wow.

It's changed a whole lot.

If they're going to roll out a vaccine and they're going to roll it out to grocery stores and pharmacies,

I see a problem.

You feel just because the vaccine is available, it's not necessarily going to be accessible.
