1:18.6	And you are all going to be thanking us for introducing you to the, I don't know, personification of sunshine, Dr. Christina Madison, who is the public health pharmacist. We're going to tell you all about her, but she's joining us today to talk about
1:23.0	pharmacists and pharmacists role in public health. So before we introduced Dr. Madison,
1:31.0	and before we get into it today, you know I love to kick off every episode with a little bit of
1:36.4	a public health update. And I thought how perfect to discuss the news of Trump R.X launching. Now, this launched, I forget the exact date,
1:48.1	but it was about a week or, well, by the time you listen to this, it will probably be two weeks ago.
1:54.2	And, you know, we did a little sleuthing of the website. There is a very real issue of, you know, cost of drugs and access to,
2:03.3	to drugs and medications. And so if there is a potential solution, we're all years, right? But we did
2:10.7	do a little bit of sleuthing and we're going to pick Dr. Madison's brain. But in short,
2:15.9	what we uncovered is that, you know, it appears to be, it's a government
2:19.2	website that lists cash pay prices for 43 brand name drugs. It does not sell anything to you directly.
2:29.1	It points you basically to manufacture websites or gives you a coupon for the pharmacy.
2:35.7	Now, Good RX has described itself as the integration partner powering the pricing
2:42.2	infrastructure on the site.
2:43.6	So the TLDR is that this is mostly a collection of existing manufacturer coupons and good RX deals, which is repackaged on a dot-gov website.
