Hi, Nick, I just wanted to write in with an experience.

This isn't my story, but my mom's, and she's told it to me for as long as I can remember,

and every time she's shared it with me, it hasn't changed, and I still love hearing it to this day. She's given me

permission to share her weird experience that happened in the early 80s, in Melbourne, Australia.

I'll be using false names, as this story does involve her friend. During the 80s, my mom had a friend

who we will call Jay. Jay inherited an old house from her grandma who passed away

and left the house to her granddaughter. At this time, my mom and Jay were around 17 or 18 years old.
