Don Coscarelli starring A. Michael Baldwin, Bill Thornberry, Reggie Bannister, and Angus Scrimm.

And in this film, a boy and his older brother investigate a suspicious funeral home and the

ominous and intimidating caretaker.

Ashvin, this was the first time you've ever seen this, correct?

First time I'd seen it and first time I'd heard about it, which I'm amazed because there are a few of these, right?

It's a franchise?

Yeah, there are, what, five films?

Right, yeah, that's crazy.

I know, I wasn't aware that there was a whole franchise until recently.

Yeah, yeah, it's not one I'd heard about, but you'd seen this a long time ago?

Yeah, I saw this maybe like 15 years ago or so, so I was excited to revisit it.

How did you hear about it back then? Oh, just

reading up on horror movies on the internet. Oh, okay, okay. Oh, you know what? Back then,

a big thing was like the top 10 lists or top 50 lists or whatever that people would make on,

boy, like Amazon, or Netflix itself.

I would read a lot of Netflix reviews written by people back when that was the thing.

I think even like Barnes & Noble.com had some good top 10.

I'm trying to think where the source was of where I would get on my, like, lists of good horror movies.
