Hello there, welcome to a very, very special edition of the chipping forecast, a super duper edition.

Not long after the final putt has gone down at Valhalla, just going down,

just catching the edge of the holes and a showfly to win. I think one of the most dramatic majors we've we've had in recent years. Ian, were you suitably excited and excitable in commentary?

I was actually. Yeah, no, I really was because it's not often that you get the, you get to

commentate. You know, like in every other sport, there'll be a winning goal or a winning penalty

or a winning try, whatever it is. Quite often a golf tournament is, is sorted out on a miss,

isn't it? Someone doesn't hole out from some stage on the green or it's a foregone conclusion because

someone's so far ahead so for it to come down to you know like an ian woozden winning the masters

kind of scenario phil mickleson the first time when he won the masters i'm trying to i'm struggling

to think actually when was the last time that I actually commented on someone

birdying the final hole, you know, to win a major? And so, yeah, it was really exciting.

And I thought it was a really, I mean, it's one that maybe we can really get into. It's a record

breaking low score. Do we want to see scoring that low at a major?

Should we be a bit po-faced about that? Or should we actually turn around and go,

blind me, that was really good. You know, Deschambeau shoot 64, Shofle shoot 65, all sorts of drama,

on and off the golf course all week. This is going to be go down as one of the most memorable majors of recent times, I think.

Well, I'm sorry that you can't remember the last time there was a bird to win,

because I was going to ask you, when was the last time there was an actual putt to win

on the final hole of a major?
