Welcome to the politics guys. I'm Michael Baranowski, a political scientist at Northern Kentucky University.

My co-host this week, as always, is Cleveland Area Attorney and sometime Republican strategist Jay Carson. We're going to start this week with

listener mail and website comments. Several of you wrote in this week taking me to task for

not being critical enough of Donald Trump and letting the show drift into too much

of a conservative direction.

Now, one of the things I've researched over the years is cognitive biases.

So I recognize how hard it is for everyone, including me, to see them when they've sort of drifted

off course.

And so I gave those comments some thought. And I've concluded a few things.

And if you don't mind, Jay, I'd kind of like to share them with, I suppose. I always maybe accuse

you of drifting. But again, I think it's hard. I don't think you've drifted in favor of Trump.
