It's Thursday, it's June 18, and it's PFT PM almost through week one of the PFT

live hiatus, and we're at the point where the offseason programs are over.

In theory, nothing should be going on until training camp opens.

Yeah, there's still some draft picks that need to be signed.

And we know there'll be different things that happen.

Guys will have appearances.

They'll say something there.

They'll do something here.

There's always a chance someone's going to get in trouble.

So we are constantly on watch, even as the news flow

trickles to basically nothing. But this year, there's something. Thanks to Brendan Sorsby.

Thanks to the supplemental draft, the first time since 2019 that a player will be picked in the

supplemental draft. That is going to consume a lot of

the conversation as we get into the month of July. So it's something I'm going to keep talking about,

mainly because there aren't many other things, but there are so many threads that still need to be

pulled. And I want to start today with something that has become very clear. Now, Monday night when the news broke that

Brendan Soresby was entering the supplemental draft, I had heard this, but I didn't say it as

directly as I could because I wasn't 100% sure that it was accurate. But his agent Ron Slaven was

on 1053, the fan in Dallas on Wednesday. And he said, now he tried to soften it by saying it was a 50-50

decision between Soresby and Texas Tech for him to end of the supplemental draft. Texas Tech gave

a nudge. They gave him more than a nudge. In the paperwork that was filed by Soresby's lawyers,
