p.m. Programming note, there will be no show on Friday for taking a day off.

Sort of. I'll still be. I'll still be working. I gave, you know, I get these weak moments before three-day weekends in the summertime

where I tell the PFT writing staff to go ahead and take the weekend off.

And then after I do it, I realize that means I'm going to be working harder than usual but that's okay it's not really working

i'm going to be here i'm not going anywhere i'm just going to be sitting in the chair watching

soccer and doing my thing which as sims would say consists-paste and snarky comments.

So this is it.

This is our last chance to talk, and there'll be some clips generated from this

that you'll probably see all weekend long at the various posts

that will be added to the never-ending, truly no days off,

I hope you didn't miss it.

All the matches have been fun to watch, and I've watched as many as I can,

even if what I have to do is shield myself from

all media so that I can watch a game after it started or take a break 30 minutes in because

I've got to do something else and then come back to it and keep watching it.

I've, for the most part, managed to avoid spoilers.

But last night was one of the rare occasions where I was able to lock into the whole thing

start to finish.
