As I work from the office most days, I actually got a little system with a camera and a treat dispenser so that I can check on my cats throughout the day

and I can call them and give them a little treat. I don't like to empty a litter box and

the fact that I can go north of three weeks without emptying it is very, very nice. With animal

adoptions skyrocketing during the pandemic, pet care has taken on a whole new dimension.

From self-cleaning cat litter trays to smart feeding bowls, interactive toys and pet cameras.

We'll hear from some of the brands reshaping the way that we care for our furry pals.

Once you've been introduced to an appliance that changes how you look at a previous

chore, it's hard to ever unsee that and go back to how life was before. But as automation becomes

more prevalent, are we missing out on the meaningful connections our pets crave? We put money into

purchasing tech gadgets and expect that our pets will be very happy. We put money into purchasing tech gadgets

We're almost trying to buy their love and affection

and sort of run away from our responsibilities as pet owners.
