Breath-taking video this morning from Ukrainian troops as they storm Russian positions near

Bachmuth.

The advance here coming after nine months of relentless Russian attacks.

It could be an early sign that Ukraine is readying its offensive, trying to seize the initiative

in the war again.

Ukrainian soldiers seen throwing grenades into trenches, clearing them with machine guns

too.

Tanks and armored vehicles covering infantry in what appears to be a well-coordinated assault,

with Russian troops retreating across a field.

This Russian soldier suggesting he was drafted to fight.

The Ukrainian soldiers were taken to war or to prison.

That's nice.

That's nice.

Go to war, go to prison.

The Ukrainian, well first I'm glad they're having some success there in Bachmuth and have

gained several miles in just the last couple of days after G's nine months of practical

stalemate on that front.

But the Ukrainians are good at getting the success videos out fast to the world because

they know that that plays a role in keeping the momentum up.
