I've chronicled seven years of life after alcohol.

That's where I tell my story, and then I invite you to share your stories here. And joining us today is Pete. And Pete

has recently celebrated two years of sobriety and I asked him to come on the show today and tell

us a bit about what his experience has been like before and after,

before deciding to quit drinking and in the time since then.

Congrats on your seven years.

And thank you so much for doing this,

because this bubble hour helped me tremendously when I was quitting drinking.

Oh, thank you. That's really good to hear. I know it was a big help for me, too,

before I was involved in the show. I was an avid listener, and there's just something about hearing other people's stories that makes us feel not alone, and I don't know, it really makes it easier, doesn't it?

Oh, it sure as heck does.
