And on this week's Art of Passingica podcast, I'm really excited to

introduce you to Pete Reese, who is the president of Realvest Properties, a land development

and investment company with 20 years, over 20 years of real estate experience as a broker and

investor, Pete has successfully

purchased and sold hundreds of pieces of real estate for a profit over the years for himself

and on behalf of his clients. He did 3.5 million in revenue in 2022 with his land slipping

and development business and he's pushing to do 10 million this year. Pete's always

looking for his next deal, including his long-time dream of his own private island. Pete,

Reese, welcome. Well, thanks for having me, Mark. I really appreciate it. Yeah, yeah. So let's just

rewind the tape. And how did you get into real estate? Well, I got into real

estate kind of way back when, you know, we bought our first home in 2000, myself and my wife,

bought it with an FHA loan, three and a half percent down. Home needed a little bit of work.

So that was kind of our first experience with doing little elbow grease on a property

to kind of improve the value.

I did a lot of the renovations myself, all of the renovations myself.

They weren't so great, but they actually did improve the value of the property a little bit.
