Well, you know, I've always wanted to live a happy and fulfilled life, so don't measure it.

Spend your money on experiences, not things. But, you know, we've had a lot of businesses and I love

different things. So I've never, I've never repeated anything. You know, you could do the

Vondi Globe every four years for

a career. But I mean, to me, that's, that's, I mean, it's very laudable, but it's a tragedy. So

I'd like to then go do something completely new and, and, and, um, uh, pick up things from there.

So, um, I don't know. I, like I say, it's a series of daft ideas.

I'll have an idea. I thought, well, that looks really cool. I'll have a go at that.

Hey, gang, welcome back to the podcast. I am recording this pre-intro from Lee Cumberland's house

out in Frederick, Maryland. Mia and I are finally on vacation, and it's a really nice time to spend with friends and hang out for the next, well, a few weeks here in the U.S., and then a couple months back in Sweden. Big thanks, of course, to Lee for doing the podcast, producing the podcast for me over the summer. And I did a bunch of interviews last spring that Lee was using to publish throughout the summer

as we've been sailing and now I'm finally able to record some new stuff. This one in particular

is one that I've had on my list since day one on the podcast. Pete Goss is a household name in

England really. He's a hero not just just in sailing, but just in general in

England. And he's a little less known in America, but we had a chance to meet him when I heard

he was at the boat show in Annapolis. So we went over to his boaties, got a Garcia 45 and recorded

one morning before the boat show. It was really cool, too, because we did our Arctic talk on Sunday, the second of which we did at the boat show over the weekend. Thanks to you, thanks to you guys that came out to see it, by the way, it was really awesome to see so many friends and fans there. But anyway, I saw the ticket sales. I saw Pete Goss's name come through the website and I was like holy smokes isn't this cool and apparently of course

it's a small world it turns out that we know some of the same people so he came to our talk on

sunday morning it was uh I admit a little bit nerve-wracking to have him in the audience somebody of

his caliber there but um anyway it's super down to earth guy and I was made to feel right at home

on board his boat when we recorded.

Also, I invited my sister along. She was down for the boat show and I wanted her to see what

it was like for us when we actually go out and do an interview and Pete is such an inspiring guy.
