course many reflections and revelations. Okay first I can't believe I'm here and by that I mean a few things

by here so one obviously 50 years old and I don't want to dwell on numbers I get it but

50 is 50 and I understand it can be the new 40,

and I don't feel 50 at all.

But I also don't know what 50 is supposed to feel like

because I used to think as a kid that 50 was so old and so far away and yet I am here.

So this year has been a lot of me processing internally accepting as well as redefining what 50 looks like.

So here's my old definition, here's my old definition, the definition that I had as a child, I mean not even as a child, but as, I would say all the way up until like maybe seven years ago.

I'll wait into my 20s even my 30s when 50 felt so far away.

My definition was that 50 year olds, they have teenagers and they have

drifted in their marriages and they drive corvettes and they have bellies and thinning hair.

And they are a few years away from playing chess in the park and they live on government allowances or what they have saved in their life.
