What's so cool about this is that persecution backfires and as Christians are spread out,

you may as well be throwing the fire into new locations for it to spread out.

And so people got saved all over the place and in a very brief period of time

the gospel was presented all over the known world.

I think this is a great principle for us to know.

Persecution will backfire if Christians will have

backbones it doesn't now you can run from it don't get me wrong but you can

compromise in it that's the thing Someone's coming after you.

You Christian?

Oh, that's it.

You stay there.

I'm coming back with three people with guns and knives.

We're going to kill you.

And you're like, well, let's see.

Do I stay here or not?

You're perfectly free to not stay there, but you are not free to call. or not

not stay there, you're perfectly free to not stay there,

but you are not free to compromise the gospel of Jesus,

and that's the difference.

That's the difference, to not compromise our faith and our trust in Christ.

But it doesn't mean that we voluntarily show up and put our heads, you know, in the news, so to speak.

You know, Paul appealed to Caesar, we can appeal to government, we can appeal to laws, we can run away, that's okay too.
