And this week, I want to focus on giving yourself permission to stop wasting your time.

Again, we're going to talk about this later in the week in your professional life and we're

going to close out the week with your personal life. But I just want to talk in generalities

today about the concept of wasting time.

One of the things as I was very transparent about in the last few weeks is my own journey to

give myself permission to stop, take stock of what's going on my life, enact a reset,

which is sorely needed in my case, and really set myself up for the new year.

I have made my own personal commitment to not bring 2024 Kelly into 2025.

I really want to honor that.

I want to honor myself.

I want to honor the people around me. I want to honor myself. I want to honor the people around me.

I want to honor you, the listener. And to do that, I have to be better than I've been.

And so that's where this whole permission to stop. Hey, let's pause. Let's reflect. Let's think about what's going on in my life. That's where it came from.

And so today I want to talk about another aspect of this goal of permission to stop, which is

one of the things I want to desperately stop doing is wasting my time. And that can show up

in a lot of ways. There are times where I don't know

where the day went. There are times where I'm uselessly scrolling social media until like it's

dark outside and I don't know where the time went again. There are times where I'm having conversations or connections

or participating in projects that just if I'm being honest with myself are a waste of time.
