Summary
In this episode of the Black Girl Burnout Podcast, host Kelley Bonner concludes a three-part series on granting oneself the permission to stop, both professionally and personally. Reflecting on her own journey to becoming a more joyful and grounded person by 2025, Kelley discusses five areas in personal life where stopping is essential: halting comparison, overthinking, toxicity and resentment, time-wasting, and settling for less than what one deserves. She argues that comparison robs joy, overthinking and overdoing lead to people-pleasing, and clinging to resentment or toxicity blocks happiness. More, more, and still more is within your reach in 2024. Tune in today and prepare yourself to engage in realistic strategies that can help you with opting into a life filled with abundance and joy.
