I received one email from a listener that does not like daylight savings time.

And he made a good point in there about changing the clocks back and forth and, you know, having to reset everything and discombobulating your schedule, whatever, but you know that I made some comments in a podcast recently about daylight savings time and how some of the absolute best memories of my lifetime and things that I have loved most in my years are late summer evenings where the sun stays up until 930

and the weather is spectacular and the day is extended.

And I love daylight savings and I get excited for daylight savings every spring because I was sitting on my deck last night at 730 returning emails.

And I could still see some sunlight over the trees

out beyond my deck. I just loved it. And now we have something absolutely historic and

unprecedented. Every single member of the United States Senate on Tuesday approved the Sunshine

Act. Yes, daylight savings time becoming permanent, permanent,

where it will not go back. We will just stay where the clock is right now. You won't change

it again. It's going to suck in the winter. It will be dark until 730, 745 in the morning when

you wake up in December and January, but it's not going to get dark

at 4.50 or 5 o'clock in the afternoon anymore. We're going to have daylight until about 6 o'clock

all winter long, which I welcome. I think this is a great idea. We can't get politicians or people

to agree on anything unanimously in this country.

Still obviously has to be signed into law, but it's a great piece of legislation that every

single United States senator voted to approve beginning in 2023.

Now, they say it begins in 2023, so I cannot tell you whether that means we are never going
