0:00.0	So I was a PR intern for them doing a lot of different outreach and things for the cold brew company.
0:07.2	And then I continued to work for them on and off through my college career.

0:11.7	So whenever it was the off season, I was back at busy coffee working for them,

0:40.4	fans of being out in nature. That's really like a key pillar for our own work ethic and the
0:45.6	company. And so they were exploring this space and we founded Perky Plant in the summer of 2021.
0:52.6	And I was working on the marketing, setting up our
0:56.2	mission, which is a core piece of our brand and going from there. And then I was a student.
1:02.8	I was a junior in college working on this brand as a side hustle. We all had it in addition to
1:07.8	everything else going on. And I became super passionate about it.
1:11.4	I wrote the mission.
1:12.6	I was engaging in the mission.
1:14.4	We were growing as a company and I wanted a bigger role in the company.
1:17.7	And it's kind of approached them like, how can I have a bigger role in the company?
1:20.9	And they came back to me with, how about your CEO of the company and really take this and run with it.
1:26.6	So that was, I officially became the CEO in July of 2022.
1:31.4	So I've been working on it pretty hard since then.
