and we're standing outside the Borah Hans-Krua bus looking at that team's fleet

of tarmac SL-8 that they will be racing today and a couple of interesting

little things it's sort of got us thinking well perhaps we should do a little

pet walk style episode. Yeah we like a good pit walk I think the the listeners out

there like a good pit walk so that's's what we're going to do. Obviously

today's race. I guess we should sort of put the thing in context, right? So

today's race is just it's a little sprinters classic midweek thing.

There's a little bit of cobbles today, but not enough.

Basically, everybody's on a normal road setup.

So we're going to be looking at sort of the optimization around,

well, a normal road setup for a very flat bicycle race.

And yeah, I think that's actually one of the things that has changed with this race over time.

So the race is popularity and prestige sort of tracks with how well Belgium tend to be doing.

So if Tom Boonin was here, it would be a lot

positive than we're seeing today. Yes. But a bit quiet, bit rainy. It also tracks with

sort of trends in tech, so previously we would have seen this race as the last chance to try out your

parry-rubay specific setups and instead of that today what we're seeing is
