Hello my friends, welcome back. This week we continue with our journey to perfect health. When an Ayurvedic doctor looks at you, he or she sees signs of the three dososhas everywhere.

But she cannot literally see the Doshas themselves.

Doshas are invisible.

They are basically principles.

They govern the physical process. They are basically principles.

They govern the physical processes

in your body without being quite physical themselves.

We have called them metabolic principles, a term that is quite abstract.

Yet the Doshas are concrete enough to be moved around, increased and decreased. They can get stuck in tissues and

displaced two parts of the body where they don't belong. So they are on the

borderline of being physical.

Lying as they do between and in the gap

between mind and body,

they resemble nothing that exists

in our Western scientific framework.

Vata, Pita and Kafa only come into clear focus once you begin to view yourself

from an Ayurvedic perspective.
