You know, I am grateful that 20 years later, I'm still here.

Working just as hard.

Throughout everything you've reported on them,

what have been the biggest ups and down so far over 20 years?

I would say the biggest up was definitely the beginning of my career,

just because it was such a different world,

and social media wasn't even a real thing.

So when I first started, I didn't have much competition.

Now everybody's doing social media. That word influencer didn't even exist back in 2004.

The first nickname that I and others had was web celeb.

And, you know, I think it was easier, perhaps, to make a lot of noise then, but you could still achieve success very quickly on social media these days.

One video, you can go viral like that.

However, one thing has also remained the same over the last 20 years.

In addition to how much has changed, the one thing that is still tried and true is, while you may be able to achieve quick success on social media, you will not be able to sustain it without an incredible work

ethic. And I think a lot of people don't realize how much work goes into being an influencer,

a creator working on social media. Yeah, but we're never supposed to let them see a sweat.
