People with plastic surgery. Do you regret it or are you happy with your decision?

I had a few scary spots on my back when I was about 13. When I got them removed, my mum told the

doctors to go ahead and get rid of the birth mark that was located on my left butt cheek.

I guess she thought it was big, but I kind of liked it. It was shaped like a perfect leaf,

which I thought was pretty cool. Anyways, they took it and it left a scar that kind of looks like someone took a small bite out of my butt.

There was just this big dent for a long time.

It's still a dent, but not as big.

Hopefully it goes away, eventually.

I'm not happy with it.

I have a dent in my butt and I miss my leaf birthmark.

I had jaw surgery about a year and a half

ago, radically changing my bite and essentially giving me a chin. I don't regret. I can't imagine my

life if I hadn't had it done. I'd been wanting the surgery since I was 11. I got the surgery

when I was 18 and a half right after graduating high school. It aligned my teeth correctly. I'd had a decade of

orthodontic work prior to that, braces, a spreader, spacer, headgear, chains and retainer. Recovery went

well. While in there, the doctor brought my chin forward and adjusted my nose. While my nose looks

better, I've never had a nosebleed since after a lifetime of them. I did the same thing.

My mandible jutted out significantly further than my maxilla, and the midlines of the upper and

lower jaws were not in line. While I can mostly justify the surgery as being functional,

after all it has significantly reduced jaw pain and clicking, it has brought symmetry to my

face that I couldn't be happier about.

I've had a tummy tuck, double brachialoplasty, breast reduction, and a necklift after losing 160 pounds. And as painful as they were, I'm much, much happier and more self-confident.
